Welcome to the 2026 Gold Coast Cup hosted by the GC Chito-Ryu Karate Club Inc. This annual Gold Coast Karate Tournament features exciting Chito-Ryu Karate action with kata, bogu kumite, kobujyutsu, team kata and kumite tag events.
Competitors will be representing their Chito-Ryu dojo as they compete for victory.

Individuals – $45 per person (unlimited events)
Families – $120 per family (unlimited events)

- Kobujutsu (Bo)
- Kobujutsu (Sai)
- Individual Kumite
- Individual Kumite Tag
Divisions:
There are separate divisions for age and belt groups.
Kobujutsu divisions will be separated into kobujutsu kyu grade and kobujutsu dan grade.
Notes
- Please ensure you arrive early for your event, we can not hold events waiting for late arrivals. Listen out for when to be called to marshaling.
- Kata and Kobudo Divisions will be using the score card system for judging.
- Medals will be presented at the end of each division.
- All Competitors must have the required equipment.
- There will be a canteen run by the club at the tournament
- Volunteers will be required for Set-up, Pack-up, table officials, canteen, first aid and marshaling.
