![]() Junior and Senior Students with Soke Sensei With heavy rain and storms making the dojo even more noisy then normal Soke Sensei took over 20 Juniors through their paces. All students worked their hardest to show Soke Sensei their best technique and spirit. Soke Sensei demonstrated the benefits of constant focus on kihons with his demonstration of technique and speed amazing all. Soke Sensei's patience and kind nature was apparent as he took the time to help individual students. ![]() Conor Emery with Soke Sensei ![]() Georgia Donnelly with Soke Sensei The senior training had just as much energy as the kids, with Soke Sensei taking everyone through their kihons and kata, and then had Sensei Adam doing Henshuho 1-20 with Anthony Horgan partnering. For many this was the first time they had seen some of the senior kata and henshuho. For the final part of the training Soke Sensei had everyone working on their jumping kicks finishing with jumping over a strike shield to kick the heavy bag, great fun for all! ![]() Sensei Adam demonstrating Henshuho with Anthony Horgan in front of Soke Sensei. The Tuesday morning training was meant to be Beach training but unfortunately the heavy rain continued all night so training was relocated to the dojo. Shihan Martin Phillips from the Sunshine Coast came down for the training. Once again everyone trained very hard and had a great time! Soke Sensei commented that he was pleased with the numbers at the dojo and of the standard of students and encouraged everyone to keep working hard on their kihon to further improve their technique.
