Gold Coast Chito-Ryu Karateka participate in the annual ICKFA training camp. The camp is a weekend retreat that is not to be missed! The Annual ICKFA Training Camp is open to all ages and levels and brings together the Australian Chito-Ryu family. The training camp includes a special guest instructor from Japan (Soke Sensei or Tanaka Sensei from the Sohonbu). It is a unique opportunity to train with fellow karateka of all levels and a large number of black belts.
Whilst participating in the training camp is a great way to accelerate your karate growth and learning it is also a great opportunity to meet fellow Chito-Ryu Karateka, make new friends in the Chito-Ryu family and particpate in indepth training sessions with a variety of instructors, including special guest instructors from Japan.
The camp includes all meals, accommodation and up to 6 training sessions.
The camp is also the opportunity for Australian karateka to challenge for dan & instructor rankings.
The annual QLD Chito-Ryu Training camp hosted alternatively between the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast dojo's. This camp is to allow the QLD Chito-Ryu members who may not be able to get to the camp an opportunity to train together.
The 2009 Camp will be held over the weekend 18-20 September on the Gold Coast.
